<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ready and rapid method for separating and purifying a nucleic acid by which excellent separating function, good cleaning efficiency, and excellent fitness to automation and miniaturization are achieved by using a porous membrane which can be mass-produced while substantially keeping the same separating function. <P>SOLUTION: This method for separating and purifying the nucleic acid comprises (1) a step for allowing the nucleic acid to be adsorbed in the porous membrane by passing a sample solution containing the nucleic acid through the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane, (2) a step for cleaning the porous membrane in a state of adsorbing the nucleic acid by passing a cleaning liquid through the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane, and (3) a step for desorbing the nucleic acid from the porous membrane by passing a releasing liquid through the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane. The nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane adsorbs the nucleic acid by the interaction substantially not associated with an ionic bond, and two or more of the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membranes are used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
