PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plurality of overlapped supports and a method for manufacturing a plurality of overlapped supports which are supports used when an object is packed into a carton or the like, and which are used for supporting an axial load which is applied to the carton. SOLUTION: A paperboard support is formed by advancing a paperboard fold linearly toward a mandrel, and by winding the overlapped section around the mandrel in a condition in which the edge of the overlapped section is made parallel to the axis of the mandrel. The overlapped section is made to form a tubular object by being adhered with each other, the tubular object is advanced linearly along the mandrel, and it is cut down in a desired length. The tubular object is a plurality of grade structures having one or a large number of the overlapped sections of a relatively low grade in the intermediate of a wall and the overlapped sections of a relatively high grade toward the inside and the outside of the tubular object.
