PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle audio apparatus, especially, an on-vehicle audio apparatus provided with a sub-woofer channel means such as a sub-woofer for reproducing the low-sound band of an audio signal, which immediately reproduces sound without causing an unwanted large pop noise when an ignition key of a car brings an on-vehicle audio system into an operation remote state and the operation starts, thereby improving convenience for a listener. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle audio apparatus is provided with a sub-woofer channel means for reproducing the low sound band of an audio signal. The sub-woofer channel means is provided with a remote detecting means, and a variable band-pass filter means to which the audio signal is inputted. After the remote detecting means detects remote input, the sub-woofer channel means changes the pass frequency band of the variable band-pass filter means from a first setting state to a second setting state.
