PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-balanced reactor in which the corrosion problem of a pressure-resistant vessel can be solved by preventing a corrosive gas from flowing out of a reaction cartridge by simple constitution. SOLUTION: This pressure-balanced reactor 2 is constituted as a double cylinder consisting of the pressure-resistant vessel 22 arranged as an outer cylinder and the reaction cartridge 21 arranged as an inner cylinder in the pressure-resistant vessel 22. A nozzle 37 penetrating the pressure-resistant vessel 22 is inserted into the reaction cartridge 21. A throttled part 36 is erected from the upper end of the reaction cartridge 21 while securing a predetermined gap S between the throttled part and the outer periphery of the nozzle 37 so that the inside A of the reaction cartridge 21 communicates with the circular space B formed between the periphery of the throttled part and the pressure-resistant vessel 22 through an opening at the upper end of the throttled part 36.
