PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for containing electronic components with high air-tightness reliability capable of sufficiently ensuring the reliability of air-tight sealing of an electronic apparatus and normally and stably activating the electronic components contained in the inside for a long period, and to provide the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The package for containing electronic components disclosed herein is provided with an insulation base 1 in the middle of an upper side of which a recess 4 to contain and mount the electronic components 7 therein is provided, a sealing metalized layer 2 formed around the recess 4 on the upper side of the insulation base 1, and a metallic frame 8 joined with the sealing metalized layer 2 via a brazing member. A plurality of grooved notches 5 are formed from an upper end to a middle part of a side face of the insulation base 1, a conductor 6 is filled in the notches 5, and the upper end of each conductor 6 is connected to the sealing metalized layer 2 and the metallic frame 8.
