PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing uneven contrast caused by elution or outflowing of a component of an end-sealing material into a liquid crystal. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device, in which the liquid crystal 50 is held between a pair of substrates 10, 20, is equipped with a sealing material 52 sticking the pair of substrates 10, 20 to each other and sealing the liquid crystal 50 inside the substrates. The sealing material 52 includes a liquid crystal injection port 55. The liquid crystal display device is characterized by having the liquid crystal injection port 55 end-sealed with the end-sealing material 54 comprising a curing material as a main component, and on the other hand, having at least a component out of the components of the end-sealing material 54 dispersed in the nearly whole liquid crystal layer formed inside the sealing material 52 with respect to the liquid crystal 50 sealed with the sealing material 52.
