PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle position measuring device, capable of measuring simply and highly accurately rotation accuracy of a rotator at each arbitrary angle. SOLUTION: This rotation angle position measuring device 2 is equipped with a floodlight 11 for irradiating two lights having crosses optical axes; a CCD camera 15 for receiving each light and generating an electric signal, the first support 14, wherein the first member 12 for supporting the floodlight 11 is rockable with respect to the second member 13 fixed to a structure 84 at a position separated from the rotator 82, the second support 18 wherein the first member 16 for supporting the CCD camera 15 is rockable with respect to the second member 17 fixed to the rotator 82; a driving device for rocking each of the first members 12, 16 to each of the second members 13, 17, and a control/measuring device 24 for facing the floodlight 11 to the CCD camera 15 by driving the driving device, based on an electric signal generated by the CCD camera 15, and measuring the distance between the floodlight 11 and the CCD camera 15.
