PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof sheet fixing method for preventing a heat insulating material from being melted and deteriorated by remaining heat remaining in a fixing plate, even when thermally fusion-bonding a waterproof sheet by heating the fixing plate fixed on the heat insulating material. SOLUTION: This waterproof sheet fixing method thermally fusion-bonds the waterproof sheet 5 by heating the fixing plate 3 by electromagnetic induction heating, by laying the waterproof sheet 5 on the fixing plate, by fixing the fixing plate 3 for arranging a covering material 7 composed of a thermoplastic resin on the heat insulating material 2 arranged on a backing 1.
