PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect paper discharged in different directions to a single stacking part. SOLUTION: This paper processing device is provided with a first distribution part 6 to distribute paper in a first and a second directions based on inspection information by an inspecting part 4, a processing part 10 to process paper distributed in the first direction by the first distribution part 6, a first carrying passage 8 to carry paper distributed in the second direction by the first distribution part 6, a second distribution part 13 to distribute paper processed by the processing part 10 in a third and a fourth directions based on processing information by the processing part 10, a stacking part 16 to stack paper distributed in the third direction by the second distribution part 13, a second carrying passage 18 to carry paper distributed in the fourth direction by the second distribution part 13, a combining part 19 in which the first and the second carrying passages 8 and 18 are combined with each other, and a discharge stacking part 20 for paper carried along the first and the second carrying passages 8 and 18 to pass the combining part 19 to be stacked.
