PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror mounting device capable of retaining a top rail to surely prevent its upward moving. SOLUTION: This mirror mounting device is so formed that a mirror mounting wall surface 1 is fixed with a bottom rail 2 and vertically movably mounted with the top rail 13 and, after the lower end of the mirror 6 is fitted in the bottom rail 2, the top rail 13 is downward moved to be fitted in the upper end of the mirror 6. A wall surface mounting part 13a of the top rail 13 is provided with a vertically long hole 13b, a frontward projecting projection 13e, and an engagement piece 14 fixed to the mirror mounting wall surface 1 with a screw 15 which penetrates through the long hole 13b while the wall surface mount part 13a of the top rail 13 is vertically movably pushed toward the mirror mounting wall surface 1.
