PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher detecting abnormal production of bubbles without error. SOLUTION: This dishwasher supplies water to a first level for appropriately performing a "washing process 1" in a "water supply process 1" (steps S14-18) and further supplies the water to a second level in a "water supply process 2" (steps S20-26). In a state supplying the water to the second level, the "washing process" is performed (steps S28-34). Whether or not being the first level or more is repeatedly determined during the "washing process" (step S30). When the amount of produced bubbles is to lower the level from the second level to the first level (YES), it determines to have no trouble in the operation and continues the "washing process". When the amount of the generated bubbles is to lower the level from the second level to that below the first level (NO), it determines to cause some trouble in the operation and immediately executes "removal of the bubbles" (step S38).
