<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent print dignity from being deteriorated due to font data depending on an image forming device even when print data are transferred to an image forming apparatus different from a designated image forming apparatus for substitute print, and to acquire print quality intended by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A device information table for managing device(printer) font data preliminarily supported by each image forming apparatus is registered in a management server 1002, and when an image forming apparatus designated as the print destination of print data by a client machine 1001 is being executing another print processing, whether or not the device font data are being used for the print data is decided, and when it is decided that the device font data are used for the print data, the image forming apparatus which supports the device font data is selected as the print destination of the print data based on the device font data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
