<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopping method of a fuel cell capable of improving a starting property by wasting water remaining therein, and restraining a quantity of hydrogen for gas purge when stopping the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The stopping method of a fuel cell, guiding hydrogen and air to an anode and a cathode, respectively, and generating power by chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, comprises a process S12 of stopping supply of hydrogen to the anode, a process S20 of connecting the anode and the cathode and enabling them to conduct electricity through a load, and a process S24 of guiding the air to the anode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
