<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory for wet spraying which has excellent stickness and adhesion required as the characteristics for a spray working without impairing corrosion resistance and capable of effectively utilizing used monolithic refractories. <P>SOLUTION: In the monolithic refractory used for the wet spraying by which the monolithic refractory previously kneaded with added water is forcibly supplied to a nozzle and a quick setting agent is added in the nozzle or in this side of the nozzle to carry out the spraying, a refractory raw material having a composition mainly containing 10-75 mass% of the crashed and grain size-controlled used alumina magnesia based monolithic refractory in which spinel (MgO Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) is produced in use for the lining for a molten metal vessel, 3-20 mass% of magnesia of <1 mm particle diameter and the balance alumina is blended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
