<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for an ID card, which prevents information of the ID card from being read at a remote site. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet 1 for the ID card, which can prevent the information of the ID card from being read at the remote site, is inserted into a wallet after a metal layer 20 comprising copper is screen printed on a flexible resin film 10. The wallet is folded into two and carried in a jacket pocket or a bag. Consequently, the ID card is covered at the both sides by the ID card protecting sheet 1 in the folded wallet. An electromagnetic wave can not reach the ID card due to the sheet 1 of the ID card, the metal layer 20 of which prevents the wave from reaching the ID card, and furthermore, since the electromagnetic wave radiated from the ID card is shielded by the metal layer 20 even though the ID card reacts to the electromagnetic wave, no wave can reach a read device of the ID card.
