<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display system capable of regulating luminance appropriately at a part other than the central part of an interested region. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image display system comprises a display 10 for displaying a medical image, a section 6 for setting an interested region on a screen displaying the medical image, a frequency component regulating section 2 for converting the displayed medical image based on its space frequency components to create a conversion image, an interested region control section 7 for displaying the created conversion image and the medical image, respectively, in a set interested region and on the outside thereof and displaying continuous transition of the medical image and the conversion image at the boundary part of the interested region, and a synthesizing section 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
