PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for realizing low power consumption by executing robuster power control even when interruption/exception processing is generated.
SOLUTION: When it is found that there is no task set in an execution stand-by state as a result of monitoring the number of tasks set in the execution stand-by state by an RTOS or execution stand-by state monitor task, the RTOS or execution stand-by state monitor task is controlled to reduce a power, and the current active task performs power control according to the preliminarily set WCET of each application slice. On the contrary, when there is any task set in the execution stand-by state, the RTOS or execution stand-by state monitor task is controlled to increase the power and the current active task performs power control according to a virtual WCET that is earlier than the WCET of each application slice. When there is no task set in the execution stand-by state and there is no current active task, the RTOS or both of the execution stand-by state monitor task and sleep task are controlled to reduce the power. Thus, the low power consumption of this information processor is improved.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
|
