<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication method capable of reducing probability of convergence and drop in throughput, and alleviating processing on a transmission request frame and a transmission permission frame. <P>SOLUTION: In the wireless communication method for constituting an ad hoc network in which a plurality of wireless terminals can directly communicate with one another, the transmission request frame not containing information of an access inhibited period to a channel and an address of a transmission source and the transmission permission frame not containing the information of the access inhibited period to the channel and the address of a destination are transmitted/received. Thus, while the frames are transmitted/received between a pair of wireless terminals, the wireless terminal which can access the channel of at least one of the transmitting/receiving wireless terminals and has received either the transmission request frame or the transmission permission frame conducts virtual carrier sensing to inhibit the access to the channel of the other wireless terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
