摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short circuit between a first linear electrode and a second linear electrode from occurring and to improve the quality of a read radiation image in a radiation image detector in which the first linear electrode for transmitting reading light and the second linear electrode for shielding the reading light, are alternately arranged to read the radiation image by the irradiation of the read light. <P>SOLUTION: In the radiation image detector, insulating films 7 for insulating the first linear electrode 5a and the second linear electrode 5b are formed at both side end faces 5c of the second linear electrode 5b extended in a lengthwise direction, and the edge end 5d of the upper surface continued to both the side end faces 5c, thereby preventing the second linear electrode 5b from being discharged at the edge. The insulating layer 7 is not formed on the upper surface 5e of the second linear electrode 5b except the edge end 5d of the upper surface of the second linear electrode 5b, thereby discharging negative charge leaked from a charge storage unit 6 and transmitted through a charge transport layer 3 from the second linear electrode 5b, thus preventing an after-image by the negative charge from being generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
