PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time required for starting a use while facilitating opening/closing a folder type mobile phone. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 which performs information processing, comprises: a first main body 100 including operating keys 112a, 112b, 112c, 114a, 114b, 114c on its side surface; a second main body 200; a rotary shaft 310 for rotatably connecting the first main body 100 and the second main body 200; a rotation detecting section for detecting relative rotations between the first main body 100 and the second main body 200; an operating key manipulation pressing section for detecting pressing an operating key; and an information processing control section for carrying out information processing based on results of detection due to the rotation detecting section and the operating key manipulation pressing section.
