PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking instrument capable of restraining precision in an optical system from getting low, by moderating impact in dropping, even if the laser marking instrument is accidentally dropped. SOLUTION: In this laser marking instrument 1, a metal grip 10 is rotatably supported to a battery storage part 11 protruded in a side face 9b of a body case 9 attached onto an upper face of a support part 7 provided with three support legs 5 for mounting on a working face, for covering a body comprising a laser emission part and a ginbal mechanism part, and is provided with a plurality of laser emission windows 8 for emitting a laser beam emitted from the laser emission part to the outside; both side piece parts 10a of the grip 10 are foldingly formed, to make a holding part 10b of the grip 10 come near to an upper face part 9a of the body case 9, when the grip 10 is rotated toward a side opposite to the support part 7.
