PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device capable of manually and easily hoisting a shutter or a hanging wall. SOLUTION: This shutter device has the shutter or the hanging wall for partitioning a space, a hoisting mechanism for hoisting the shutter or the hanging wall, a hand side operation mechanism 31 connected to this hoisting mechanism via a wire and manually performing hoising operation on the hand side by the hoisting mechanism, and an operation force converting mechanism 52 arranged in any position of this hand side operation mechanism 31 and/or an arranging passage of the wire and converting hoisting operation force.
