PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate which demonstrates a high ornament function while controlling the discoloration of a substrate surface and can exhibit health enhancement and medical treatment/recovery effects based on far infrared rays. SOLUTION: The laminate 10 has a substrate 2 of an alloy (A) containing silver and germanium or an alloy (B) containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of zinc, aluminum, boron, and tin, silver, germanium, and indium and the outermost layer 4 of a thin silica film 12 in which at least one germanium-containing fine particles 14 selected from the group consisting of fine germanium particles and fine germanium alloy particles are dispersed.
