COATING METHOD AND FLASH-OFF DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method which enables the uniform preheating of an inner and outer plates of an automobile body in a short process and prevents the automobile body from rising in temperature. SOLUTION: The coating method is employed for coating an automobile body with a water-borne coating in a coating line. The coating method has the first flash-off process 12a of spraying relatively high-temperature air on the automobile body after the water-borne coating is applied and the second flash-off process 12b of spraying air, which has a temperature lower than the air used in the first flash-off process, on the automobile body.
