The present invention is directed to a tool holder for a power tool, in particular for a drilling hammer or a chipping hammer, with a cavity ( 72 ) for receiving tools ( 12 ), a grooved shank ( 16 ), and at least one radially displaceable locking body ( 24, 50 ), which is insertable in a locking groove ( 22 ) of tool ( 12 ) and is closed on the shank end ( 20 ), and which is capable of being held in its locked position by a locking element ( 30, 58 ). It is proposed that, to create a large contact surface ( 40, 56 ), the locking body ( 24, 50 ) is positioned with its longitudinal axis ( 42, 54 ) at an angle (alpha, beta) to a longitudinal axis ( 18 ) of the cavity ( 72 ).
