<p>The present invention provides systems and methods for determining optimal primers to be used for unbiased genome amplification. The methods for determining the optimal primers employ computer-based algorithms. In one embodiment, a genetic algorithms-based method for selecting primers for genomic DNA amplification is provided. In addition, the present invention provides a system for executing genetic algorithms-based methods for selecting primers for genomic DNA amplification. Furthermore, the present invention provides a number of hexamers that can be used for unbiased amplification of human genomic DNA.</p>
