<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and reliably perform a trade operation by an information terminal equipped with a bar code card reader. <P>SOLUTION: Trade is started only by mounting a bar code card to a bar code reader by an operator in steps (1)-(4). As shown in a step (6), the trade by the card is forced to be terminated by removing it from a transparent plate. Therefore, it is reduced for the operator to be forced to do a specific operation for each terminal and operability of the information terminal can be remarkably improved. And also as shown in a step (7), as long as the presence of the card is confirmed, the information terminal surely recognizes that operations are performed by an identical operator, so that it is possible to secure the safety of the trade through the card without adopting time-out control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
