摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general LED lighting apparatus whose length can be adjusted by disconnecting the block of an LED display unit and which can have a light emission area formed in a free shape by connecting a length-adjusted unit. <P>SOLUTION: The unit comprises a reference block and a plurality of coupled blocks, and the reference block is equipped with a constant-current circuit using a three-terminal regulator and a zener diode group for compensating a forward voltage drop when the number of the coupled blocks decreases, and characterized in that current loop paths returning through the zener diodes are formed as many as the blocks; a zener diode in a current loop path looped from a current exit of a precedent-stage block is activated for the first time when a block of a following stage is disconnected to make a current flow to the current loop path; and a current does not flow to a zener diode since the difference between a zener voltage and the forward voltage drop is reversely biased, but the difference is compensated by the three-terminal regulator after the block of the following block is disconnected to make a constant current flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
