<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference position correcting device efficiently and highly precisely setting a correction amount and correcting a positional deflection between a laser machining reference position of a laser machining device and a reference position of a sewing frame in each machining position. <P>SOLUTION: This reference position correcting device 1 is provided in a sewing machine, and is provided with a laser oscillator irradiating a laser beam, a CCD camera 6 disposed at a table below the laser oscillator and generating an electric signal by receiving the laser beam, a correction amount setting section 7 setting the correction amount for correcting the irradiation reference position of the laser beam scanned by a scanning mechanism 35 of the laser machining device based on the electric signal generated by the CCD camera 6, and a correcting section 9 transmitting the correction amount to a control section 43 of the sewing machine and correcting the irradiation reference position.
