PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a porous body having high hydrophilicity and excellent filtration and separation efficiency to a polar solvent such as water, blood, etc., a porous body having high lipophilicity and excellent filtration and separation efficiency to a liquid such as a nonpolar organic solvent, oil, etc., and a porous body having a great number of fine pores in the inside, excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance and chemical resistance and effective as a separation membrane for an aqueous liquid, polar organic solvent, blood, oil, nonpolar organic solvent, etc., as a film or a hollow fiber. SOLUTION: The porous body comprises a polyketone (A) represented by chemical formula (1) (R is a 2-30C organic group) and having 0.1-20 dL/g intrinsic viscosity and a polymer compound (B) having 1,000-10,000,000 weight-average molecular weight except the polyketone in the weight ratio of (A)/(B) of 20/80-99/1 and has 1-90 vol.% of pores having 0.001-10μm average pore diameter.
