摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate operational limit on the low output side when an output power existing in a conventional EER high output amplifier is varied. SOLUTION: The high output amplifier comprises an input converting section 110, a power supply voltage control section 120, and an amplifying section 30 wherein the input converting section 110 converts an input signal (a) to the amplifying section 30 and varies the power supply voltage Vs of the amplifying section 30 through the power supply voltage control section 120. The input converting section 110 sets a threshold level for input power, inputs a phase amplification signal of constant amplitude to the amplifying section 30 if the input power is larger than the threshold level and varies the power supply voltage Vs of the amplifying section 30 by the envelope signal (c) of the input signal (a). If the input power is lower than the threshold level, the input signal (a) is inputted to the amplifying section 30 and the power supply voltage Vs of the amplifying section 30 is made constant.
