PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article sample for a vending machine that is reduced in manufacturing cost by simplifying entire structure and can be displayed in an approximate state to an actual article sold. SOLUTION: The article sample for a vending machine comprises a sample display support 11 detachably mountable on a horizontal top of a sample display stage, and a sample display body 12 displaying an article sold. The sample display support 11 comprises a bottom plate part 13 detachably fixed to the top of the sample display stage 1, a sample support part integrally raised from a top back portion of the bottom plate part 13, and display body mounting parts 14 disposed on both side portions of the sample support part to lock side edges of the sample display body 12. The sample display body 12 is press-molded out of a translucent thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet into the form of a longitudinally halved container, and is integrated on the side edges with locking pieces 39 locked on the sample display body mounting parts 14.
