PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce production costs of a liquid crystal display device by suppressing costs generated every time a FRC (Frame Rate Control) data pattern is altered, and to make it possible to easily alter the FRC data pattern according to a change in the characteristic of the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: After storing two or more FRC data patterns in separate memory, the liquid crystal display device stores a necessary data pattern in a look-up table of a read signal control part to operate FRC processing. Thus, the invention eliminates the need for to re-designing the signal control part according to the FRC data pattern to be altered every time an operation characteristic of the liquid crystal display device varies, and has the effect of reducing the production costs of the liquid crystal display device.
