The invention relates to current collectors (103) for bipolar and monopolar fuel cell stacks. The current collectors (103) comprise a plurality of cavities (perforations), a frame area comprising at least one rib, which extends outwards on the plate plane and an inner area that is surrounded by the frame area. According to the invention, at least four cavities are provided in the frame area and the cavities in the inner area define a cavity structure, which is not associated with the cavities in the frame area. This, together with a plate element (2) comprising chambers and located below said cavities creates a fluidic channel structure, which has a mechanical bridge in the transition area between the frame and the inner area. Said bridge prevents a narrowing of the fluidic channels as a result of a swellable membrane material. |
