A lift adjusting device for a display, wherein helical springs (20) energizing a lift member (30) in the upper direction are formed to be lifted up and down along lifting routes (13a) and (13b) when winding parts (20b) are let out or taken in according to the lifting up and down movements of the lift member (30). Insert parts (40) having a width smaller than the outer diameter of the winding parts (20b) of the helical springs (20) and allowing the winding parts (20b) to be fittedly inserted therein in a radially compressed state according to the lowering movement of the lift member (30) are formed in the lifting routes (13a) and (13b). Thus, the lift adjusting device for the display usable for general purposes and capable of making constant or adjusting according to the preference of a user operating feeling in rising adjustment can be provided at low cost.
