The invention relates to a load receiving means (11) for a transporting device, particularly for a storage and retrieval unit having a telescopic table (15) and to a method for operating this load receiving means. In linear guiding arrangements (42, 43, 44, 45), an upper table (18) and an intermediate table (17) can be displaced relative to one another and relative to a lower table (16) provided with a drive device (66). A transfer device (68) is provided for transferring the upper table (18) according to the relative motion between the lower table (16) and the intermediate table (17). Guiding arrangements (42, 43, 44, 45) form, between the intermediate table (17) and the lower table (16) and between the intermediate table (17) and the upper table (18), interspaced guiding planes (47, 48) extending parallel to a receiving surface (26) of the upper table (18). Another guiding plane (28) extends perpendicular to the other guiding planes. Return means (69) and transfer means (70) of the transfer device (68) are placed in a transfer plane (76) extending at an angle (77) to the receiving surface (26) and parallel to the displacement direction. |
