<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a manganic acid lithium powder whereby a reaction time can be freely adjusted, the uniformity of a particle diameter and the homogeneity of a particle are secured, and the mixing of impurities can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing manganic acid lithium powder is characterized in that a flame rotational flow F is formed in each of a plurality of cross sections perpendicular to an axis, which are spaced in the axial direction, in a cylindrical reaction unit 11 which generates manganic acid lithium powder, a material mist M containing at least a material of manganic acid lithium is supplied from the bottom of the cylindrical reaction unit 11 to the upward direction, the material mist M is introduced into a plurality of the flame rotational flows F and rotated, and the material mist M is pyrolyzed by the flame during the rotation to form manganic acid lithium powder. The arrangement of flame rotational flows F in a plurality of steps would have an advantage that a large firing space 44 kept at a constant temperature can be secured, and controlling the number of steps enables the free adjustment of the size of the firing space 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
