<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous system and a synchronous master unit in which precision of synchronization is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The synchronous master unit comprises an inspection period time detecting section for receiving a reference time signal and detecting elapse of an inspection period time based on the reference time signal, a counter section performing periodic count operation based on a clock pulse being generated at a clock frequency, a comparing section for setting the count at the counter section when the inspection period time detecting section detects first elapse of the inspection period time as an expected count and for comparing the count with the expected count every time when elapse of the inspection period time is detected subsequently, and a counter control section for controlling the count operation in the delaying direction if the count has a phase lead ahead of the expected count as a result of comparison and controlling the count operation in the advancing direction if the count has a phase lag behind of the expected count. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
