<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter having high transmitting property and visibility with simple constitution, a good balance in an electromagnetic wave shielding function and a near-IR blocking function, no color change at high temperature, and high contrast property. <P>SOLUTION: The optical filter comprises layers formed by layering, from the viewing side, an antireflection layer, a dye layer, a mesh copper foil and a transparent substrate, wherein the antireflection layer has ≤2% minimum reflectance, the dye layer contains a diimmonium compound having a specified structure, the mesh copper foil is patterned mesh copper foil having 1 to 40 μm thickness prepared by etching a rolled copper foil into a lattice-like pattern with 50 to 96% opening ratio and 5 to 40 μm line width, and the transparent substrate is made of a polyester or glass having ≤1.00% haze. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
