<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic oral cavity cleaner having a liquid sump section, and even if generating ultrasonic wave when there is no liquid in the liquid sump section, preventing the breaking of an ultrasonic wave generating section. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic toothbrush 100 is provided with a liquid medicine retaining cylinder 174 retaining liquid medicine in its inside and the ultrasonic generating section 161 having an ultrasonic radiation surface 165B disposed on its base side and radiating ultrasonic waves in contact with the liquid medicine. The ultrasonic generating section 161 is provided with a piezoelectric element 162, a plate surface 163B and a plate rear face 163C; the plate rear face 163C is provided with a vibrating plate 163 stuck with the piezoelectric element 162, a film surface 165B and a film rear face 165C; and the film surface 165B is provided with a film 165 constituting the ultrasonic radiation surface 165B and a liquid layer 164 retained between the plate surface 163B of the vibrating plate 163 and the film rear face 165C of the film 165, and composed of water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
