摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary expansion and contraction link mechanism, realizing a rotary joint having a virtual axis of rotation. SOLUTION: In this rotary expansion and contraction link mechanism 1, a first link 5 having a first virtual center line 3 and a second link 9 having a second virtual center line 7 are connected to each other through a rotary expansion and contraction joint mechanism 11. This rotary expansion and contraction link mechanism is constructed by connecting the first and second links 5, 9 so that the intersection point of the first virtual center line 3 and the second virtual center line 7 is displaced on the first virtual center line 7 by a predetermined distance corresponding to a turning angle when the second virtual center line 7 is turned while intersecting the first virtual center line 3 from the overlapping state of the first virtual center line 3 and the second virtual center line 7.
