PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of preventing alternation of acquired digital data while capitalizing on merits of a digital camera by making image quality parameters of the acquired digital data revisable. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is provided with: a control means for controlling an operation of the imaging apparatus; a storage means for storing image data; a revision reception means for receiving revision of the parameters of image quality of the stored image data; a storage form reception means for receiving the settings of a storage form of the revised parameters; and a discrimination means for determining whether data to verify the presence / absence of determination applied to the image data are attached to the image data. The control means is characterized by controlling the storage form of the revised parameters to the storage means on the basis of the received storage form and a determination result in the determination means.
