PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater earthing pole and a construction method of an underwater earthing apparatus having the underwater earthing pole in which conventional problems have been solved by constituting the pole such that an underwater earthing pole P is comprised of a metallic frame member P1a formed of a highly corrosion-resistant material, and a block member P1 composed of a concrete member P1b embedded into the metallic frame member and an external metallic member P1c formed of a highly corrosion-resistant material attached to the surface of the concrete member. SOLUTION: Since an underwater earthing pole is comprised of a block member P1 superior in corrosion resistance, a preferable condition that the specific resistance of underwater soil is substantially small can be utilized, and an underwater earthing apparatus having large corrosion resistance can be obtained as well. Further, the lifetime of the underwater earthing pole P can be elongated, and also, the underwater earthing pole low in running cost can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
