PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner which has good electrostatic charge stability and has an excellent offset resistance as well. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner contains binder resin, wax and magnetic powder, wherein the the binder resin contains polyester resin having, as a constitutional unit, at least one aliphatic compound selected from the group consisting of 10 to 24C monovalent aliphatic carboxylic acid compounds and 10 to 24C monovalent aliphatic alcohols.
