PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently package a roll-shaped food. SOLUTION: The processes as described below are executed simultaneously: the first folding process of covering the roll-shaped food 8 half round with a packaging sheet projected with covering films 73 on both side edges to cover the end faces with the covering films 73, the second folding process of folding the upper parts of the covering films 73 inside, the third folding process of butting and folding both end parts of a sheet body 71 to obstructive members 45 during carrying the food, the fourth folding process of pinching and rotating the food with the packaging sheet by a plurality of rollers 61, 61, 62 and 63 with sandwiching a transfer path for the food and waiting for it and folding the end parts of the sheet along the peripheral faces of the food.
