PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator of which the structure is simple and the separation efficiency and the treatment capacity are enhanced and which is realized at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the separator having a cylindrical body comprising a filtering element 1 having filtering holes in a circumferential surface, in which end plates are provided on an inlet side and an outlet side, and a screw 5 to forcibly feed solid-liquid mixed object 4 is inserted in the cylindrical body, object introduction means SA1-SA4 to introduce the object 4 along the forcibly feeding direction of the screw 5 are arranged on the inlet end plate 2 at an inlet side end part.
