PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-operated valve diagnostic method and a motor operated-valve diagnostic device, capable of diagnosing even in the middle of operation, and also with few measurement errors. SOLUTION: The motor operated valve diagnostic method and device for the same are for diagnosing the abnormality of the motor operated valve which is operated by rotary driving force of a driving motor mechanically transmitted to the valve. The timing of on/off of the driving energy of the driving motor 1 is determined based on the signal detected by a plurality of magnetic sensors 16... attached on the outside of the conduit pipe 15 housing the electric wires 14 for driving the motor 1 or control wires.
