The channel comprises a box (1, 1.1) with sliding parts (2) for inserting into slots in the left and right side walls of the box at either end of the latter. An angled plate (4) is welded to the box in order to act as a support for the box cover (3). Two or more slotted lifting parts (5, 5.1) can be inserted horizontally into the sliding parts and secured into position by fastener screws (8). Adjustment screws (9) are used to alter the height of the lifting parts.
