<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous dehydration-type moisture conditioner for composting domestic animal feces or the like, which is simple and ideal for each dairy farmer, is low in equipment cost, is not troublesome, and can reliably regulate the moisture content of raw feces without the use of any subsidiary material such as sawdust and without the need to use fuel consumption or the like, and can produce good-quality compost. <P>SOLUTION: In this dehydrator, a continuous rotary pressing/compressing mechanism 20, which forces contents, in a small thickness, from a base force feeding zone 12 in a driving screw conveyor 1 with a built-in flight 9 into a predetermined gap part A provided around between a filtration cylinder 16 in a forward reduced diameter cylinder part 15 in an intermediate cylindrical dehydrating zone 13 and an enlarged diameter shaft part 17 with a surface rib 18 disposed within the filtration cylinder 16, is provided for dehydration. Alternatively, a construction is adopted in which a shaped filter 40 is provided within a lower liquid-pass protection frame 36 so as to be replaceable in such a content-filled state, and, in addition, an external suction mechanism 47 is additionally provided in a dehydration zone, or a vent valve tube 48 is provided in a dehydration zone 13 or the back of a transport zone 14, whereby the dehydration effect can be improved and the contents can be discharged through a discharge port 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
