PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device having a plurality of display screens and achieving light weight and thinness, and in addition, a double-side irradiating display device with high contrast capable of displaying a fine black color.

SOLUTION: Equally high translucency is given at least to both electrodes (a negative electrode and a positive electrode) of a light-emitting element, and a polarizing plate or a circular polarizing plate is provided, so that a black-color display as a non-light-emitting state can be finely performed and contrast can be enhanced. A new structure by way of a full-color double-side irradiating display can now solve the problem of color-tone shift of a display on both sides.
